Hello again,
I'm not sure how all this blogging is supposed to work or why anyone would really care about what I think but I wanted to make sure that everyone should know that they are more than welcome to create a post about anything they so wish.
So after all that I was looking at some album cover art that kind of reminded me of some of the albums I had in that milk crate in the dorm room. I apologize for not being very eclectic but what can I say.
From left to right;
Honey 1976 from the Ohio Players. Includes the classic Funk track Love Rollercoaster (say what).
Linda Ronstadt "Simple Dreams" 1977 includes a lot of cover tracks including Buddy Holly's It's so easy and the Stones Tumbling Dice, also Blue Bayou.
Supertramp "Breakfast in America" 1979 Logical Song and the Title Track which was recently sampled by Gymclass Heroes in Cupid's Chokehold.
Chicago "X" The biggest hit perhaps to that time off this album "If You Leave Me Now" Advisory: Don't ever listen to that song if you have just parted ways with a significant other.
I just looked back and noticed a recurring theme in these album covers. Care to Speculate?
Thanks for your support
